Childcare Teacher

Childcare Teacher Versailles United Methodist Church Job Overview We are seeking dedicated full time, part time and substitute Daycare Teacher(s) to join our team and provide a nurturing, Christian and educational environment for young children. As a Daycare Teacher, you will play a crucial role in fostering the growth and development of children in our care. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum to stimulate children's cognitive, social, and emotional growth
• Create a safe and supportive learning environment for all children
• Manage classroom activities and ensure all children are engaged and supervised at all times
• Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents as needed
• Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support each child's individual needs
• Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions among children
• Provide tutoring or early intervention as needed to support children's learning Experience
• Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is preferred
• Knowledge of childhood development, curriculum development, and child welfare
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
• Ability to manage classroom dynamics and promote a positive learning environment
