Job Description

Job Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Daycare Teacher/Floater! In this dynamic role, you will provide nurturing, engaging, and educational care to children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. As a floater, you will support different classrooms and staff members, ensuring a seamless and enriching experience for every child. Your enthusiasm and dedication will foster a safe, positive environment where children can explore, learn, and grow. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young lives while developing your skills in childhood development and classroom management. Responsibilities Support multiple classrooms by assisting teachers with daily activities, lesson plans, and child supervision Engage children in age-appropriate educational activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development Maintain a safe and clean environment by following health and safety protocols at all times Provide attentive infant and toddler care, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions among children Collaborate with team members to plan and execute developmental milestones and special activities Support classroom routines such as circle time, nap schedules, snack time, and outdoor play Assist with classroom organization, materials preparation, and documentation of children's progress Experience Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, nannying or babysitting setting is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies Certification in first aid and CPR is desirable; willingness to obtain if not already certified Previous experience caring for infants, toddlers, or preschoolers demonstrates strong caregiving skills Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and support various age groups effectively Join us in creating joyful learning experiences for children while advancing your career in early childhood education!
