The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans that promote literacy, physical education, and overall childhood development while ensuring the safety and well-being of all students. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages social, emotional, and cognitive development. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to support student learning and development. Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to parents on their child's growth. Incorporate literacy education into daily activities to enhance reading and writing skills. Organize physical education activities that promote health, fitness, and motor skills. Utilize Montessori methods or similar approaches to facilitate independent learning experiences. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational experience for all students. Experience Previous experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices is essential. Familiarity with literacy education strategies and physical education activities is beneficial. Experience in tutoring or providing individualized support to students is a plus. A background in Montessori education or similar teaching methodologies is advantageous.
