About Us:
Metairie Ridge Child Development Center offers a nurturing and educational environment where children grow through hands-on learning and play. We are a part-time program dedicated to creating meaningful early learning experiences.
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Pre-K 2 Teacher . In this role, you'll work closely with the lead teacher to support the development and well-being of our youngest learners.
Schedule:
Part-Time:
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday Hours:
8:45 AM - 2:45
PM Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the lead teacher to implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment Support social and emotional growth using positive guidance techniques Lead fun and interactive activities including crafts, music, movement, and outdoor play
Qualifications:
A deep love for working with young children Prior experience in a daycare or preschool setting Understanding of early childhood development and early intervention principles Excellent communication and teamwork skills Patience, compassion, and a positive attitude

$12.00 - $15.00 per hour
