Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a loving teacher to join our educational ministry team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As a Preschool Teacher, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual development of children aged 0 to 5 years. Your role will involve planning engaging activities, managing classroom dynamics, and ensuring the safety and well-being of each child. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and self-expression. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as needed. Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with other staff members to create an inclusive atmosphere for all children, including those with disabilities. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns that may arise. Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Requirements Proven experience working with young children in an educational or caregiving setting (e.g., daycare, babysitting). Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Familiarity with classroom management techniques and strategies for engaging young learners. Ability to provide first aid if necessary; certification in first aid is preferred but not required. Experience working with students who have disabilities is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. A nurturing demeanor combined with strong organizational skills to manage daily classroom activities effectively. A degree or certification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
