Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant team as a Mother's Day Out Assistant, working two to three days a week to create a safe, nurturing, and joyful environment for young children. This role is perfect for energetic, caring individuals who are passionate about early childhood development and enjoy engaging with little ones in a lively setting. You'll play a vital part in supporting the overall well-being and happiness of children while fostering positive growth and learning experiences. Duties Assist lead teachers in supervising children during various activities, including playtime, snack time, and educational sessions Ensure the safety and security of all children by maintaining vigilant supervision and following established safety protocols Support the implementation of age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages creativity and exploration Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to support a cohesive and welcoming atmosphere Assist with basic classroom needs such as setting up materials, serving snacks, and helping with diapering or toileting routines Follow instruction, help organizing, some light cleaning, running errands. Qualifications Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is preferred but not required Demonstrates patience, compassion, and enthusiasm for working with early learners Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety guidelines consistently Strong communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and team members Flexibility to work two to three days per week in a busy and fun environment A positive attitude with a commitment to creating an inclusive and nurturing space for all children This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young children while developing your skills in early childhood education. We're dedicated to supporting our team members' growth and well-being through a positive work environment. Must have dependable transportation. Must be able to pass a drug test. Must have a clean record. Must be able to work well with other's. I'm looking for some who can work with my helper's and work with me at times. Hours would be Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 to 2:00pm. As needed a few hours between 3:00pm to 5:30pm. I'm looking for someone who's very organized, patient, and that loves children.
