Job Description

Lead Teacher Preschool (Amherst) $5,000 Bonus Provide relationship-based care to young children and families while supervising and mentoring a team of Teacher and Assistant. Head Start & Early Learning Programs is a Brazelton Touchpoints™ Site! EEC LT Preschool certified and minimum AA in Early Childhood Education or related field; BA preferred. 37.5 hours a week/full year.
Salary Range:
$26.61-$31.62/hour. We offer Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Retirement Plan, Flexible Spending Plans, Vision Insurance, Long-Term Disability Insurance, Sick, Vacation, Float time and 12.5 paid Holidays. Community Action is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of a background investigation, including CORI, DCF, SORI, and fingerprint-based national CORI, NCOR, and out of state checks if applicable, and driving record check.
