Part-Time, Monday-Friday (3:00 PM
  • 6:00 PM) Afternoon Float Teacher
  • Multi-Classroom Support The Learning Experience
  • Dedham is seeking a certified Afternoon Float Teacher to support infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms during afternoon routines and end-of-day transitions.
This role helps maintain a safe, engaging, and organized environment for children and families during pickup hours. Key Responsibilities Support classrooms across multiple age groups during afternoon hours Assist with classroom activities, transitions, and dismissal routines Help maintain classroom organization and cleanliness Provide ratio coverage as needed throughout the center Communicate professionally with families and teaching team members Follow Massachusetts EEC licensing and safety requirements Qualifications Massachusetts EEC Infant/Toddler and Preschool certification required Prior childcare experience preferred Comfortable supporting multiple classroom environments Reliable, flexible, and team-oriented approach Must meet Massachusetts EEC licensing requirements
