In this role, you will provide essential lunch supervision and support, helping to create a positive, engaging atmosphere for young learners. Your commitment will directly contribute to the well-being and development of children during their mealtime routines, fostering healthy habits and social skills. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a passionate team dedicated to early childhood education and care. Duties Supervise children during lunch periods, ensuring safety and proper behavior Assist with serving meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and individual needs Promote positive social interactions among children during mealtime Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas before, during, and after meals Support children with table manners and encourage independence in eating habits Communicate effectively with staff and parents regarding children's meal preferences or dietary restrictions Follow all health and safety protocols, including mandated reporting laws and allergy awareness Skills Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies First aid and CPR certification, including pediatric first aid training Strong communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Classroom management abilities to handle diverse behaviors effectively Ability to follow health regulations related to childcare, including sanitation standards Understanding of infant care, toddler care, and preschool classroom dynamics This position is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about early childhood development who want to make a meaningful difference in children's lives while working in a supportive team environment.
