Job Description

Are you looking to make a change in your career to a place that not only values children, but also those who care for them? At the Children's Center at Groton, we are looking for educators who are passionate about nurturing the whole child through play-based, emergent curriculum. We are currently seeking a full-time teacher to work with Pre-K children EEC teacher certification required. Children remain in the same classroom for the full academic year (Sept.-Aug) and move together to the next age group. At our school, you will not experience students coming and going from your classroom throughout the year. We are not a traditional school. We value what each child has to offer and we look to turn their interests into hands-on experiences in the classroom. Our days are filled with wonder and joy - and probably a dance party or two. If you are looking to make a change for the better, we would love to introduce you to our school. Our hours of operation are currently 8am-4pm , year-round. To learn more about our school, you can visit our website at www.theccg.org . You can also see some real-life examples of our emergent curriculum model under the "Curriculum" tab.
