Job Overview The Kids Club Attendant plays a vital role in providing a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children. This position involves supervising and interacting with children in a recreational setting, ensuring their well-being while promoting fun and educational activities. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and a passion for early childhood development. Duties Supervise children in the Kids Club area, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging social interaction and teamwork. Maintain a clean and organized environment, adhering to health and safety standards. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's experiences and any concerns that may arise. Implement behavior management strategies to support children's emotional and social development. Provide first aid as necessary while maintaining a calm demeanor during emergencies. Requirements Experience working with children in various settings such as daycare, preschool, or classroom environments. Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices. Familiarity with special education needs or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. First aid certification is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff. Ability to manage classroom dynamics and implement behavior management techniques. Experience in caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting is advantageous. A passion for teaching and fostering an inclusive environment for all children is essential.
