Job Description

196 South Meadow Road, Plymouth MA South Shore Early Education is seeking full -time, Early Head Start/Infant Toddler Teachers at our Plymouth location 37.50 hours, 52 weeks per year. All benefits apply, no nights, no weekends. Salary commensurate with education, license and degree. Base minimum hourly rate with AA/AS is $25.62/hr. 37.5 hours, 52 weeks per year
Core Responsibilities:
Provide infants and toddlers with a nurturing, safe, and healthy environment to help them develop socially, intellectually, physically, and emotionally in a manner appropriate to their age and stage of development in relationship to the overall goal of social competency. Perform teaching activities in accordance with the Early Head Start Performance Standards, while assuming a lead role in the classroom. Involve parents in the educational aspects of the program to increase their knowledge and understanding of skills and experiences in child growth, education, and development, specifically with infants and toddlers. Meal assistance and other various activities as assigned.
Core Qualifications:
MA EEC Infant Toddler Certification and associates or bachelor's degree early childhood (or related field) , or CDA required as minimum. Bi-lingual (Portuguese, Arabic or Spanish) helpful although not required. Experience with birth-3 years population. Must be able to speak and understand English.
Minimum Requirements at employment:
All candidates must undergo a CORI, DCF, SORI, and fingerprint background check; prior to beginning employment. Date of posting 8/19/26 deadline to apply 9/1/26 or until a suitable candidate is found. Valid MA state driver's license. Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
