Part-Time Job Description We are seeking a responsible, caring, patient, and dependable Child Care Assistant to join our daycare program. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with young children and be committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and positive environment. Spanish-speaking is required for this position. Responsibilities Supervise children and ensure their safety and well-being at all times. Assist with daily routines, including meals, diapering, hygiene, nap time, and transitions. Support age-appropriate educational and developmental activities. Participate in art, music, reading, sensory activities, free play, and gross motor activities. Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe learning environment. Assist with preparing and cleaning classrooms, play areas, and materials. Encourage positive social and emotional development. Follow all daycare policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Communicate respectfully and professionally with children, families, and staff. Work cooperatively with the daycare provider and other staff members. Requirements Fluent Spanish speaking is required. Previous experience working with young children is preferred. Must be responsible, dependable, patient, and punctual. Ability to work well as part of a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow instructions and maintain safety and confidentiality. Must be willing to complete required background checks and EEC documentation. Early Childhood Education experience or certifications are a plus.
