Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated part-time Preschool Teacher to join our team at our Reggio-inspired preschool. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children and be passionate about early childhood education.
Duties:
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum to stimulate children's cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
  • Create a nurturing and safe environment where children can learn and grow.
  • Utilize effective classroom management techniques to ensure a positive learning experience for all students.
  • Incorporate Reggio principles into daily activities to encourage independence and exploration.
  • Engage children in math, language, and other educational activities through interactive lessons.
  • Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on their child's progress and address any concerns.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred. EEC teacher certified (or working towards certification)
  • Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare or educational setting.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Ability to create a supportive and engaging learning environment for young learners.
  • Familiarity with curriculum development and implementation techniques.
  • Understanding of classroom management strategies to promote positive behavior.
