Job Description
Job Overview Join our vibrant team as a Childcare Worker, where your enthusiasm and dedication will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children to thrive. In this role, you will support children's developmental needs through attentive supervision, educational activities, and compassionate care. Your energy and positive attitude will inspire young minds and foster a sense of security and joy in their daily experiences. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while developing your skills in early childhood education. This position will be in our Nursery on Sundays from 9:45am to 11:15am for the summer, and transition to 8:45 to 11:15 or longer during the school year. You would be working with kids ages zero to 3, and we are hoping to build our program with your reliability and friendliness. Duties Supervise children during playtime and structured activities to ensure safety at all times Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment that encourages exploration and learning Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about children's progress, needs, and any concerns Support children in developing social skills through guided interactions and conflict resolution Assist with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, and hygiene practices in accordance with health standards Skills Passionate about nurturing children's growth and well-being with a lively and positive approach Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents, colleagues, and children Ability to remain patient, attentive, and energetic in a dynamic environment Knowledge of child development principles and safety protocols to ensure a secure setting Flexibility to adapt activities based on individual children's needs and interests Basic first aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) to respond confidently in emergencies Reliable team player committed to creating an inclusive and supportive atmosphere for all children Embark on a rewarding journey where your dedication helps shape bright futures!
