Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Preschool Teacher to oversee and inspire a vibrant classroom dedicated to 3-year-old children. Preschool teachers at SS. Constantine and Helen Preschool support the mission of the parish by sharing the love of Christ with the students they serve and play a crucial role in laying the foundational blocks for lifelong learning and personal development. Duties Create engaging and age-appropriate lessons that are in line with the school curriculum Employ a wide variety of teaching methods, modifying instructional methods to meet class and individual student needs Monitor and assess the development and progress of each child Establish a positive, productive, and safe learning environment through predictable schedules and routines Manage child behavior using positive and appropriate classroom management techniques, lesson structure, and transitions Organize and participate in activities that promote physical, mental, and social development Encourage children to develop sharing, problem-solving, and cooperative learning skills Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive classroom Provide a welcoming and friendly classroom environment for all children, parents, and visitors Establish and maintain positive relationships and effective communication with children, parents, and staff Support, mentor. and direct teacher assistants and aides Communicates regularly with parents and caregivers regarding their child's progress Plans and conducts parent-teacher conferences Participate in staff meetings (including Monday morning meetings), field trips, school events, and security meetings/drills Accurately complete all paperwork (e.g., attendance records, incident reports, newsletters) Qualifications Proven experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare setting, with a strong background in toddler care and childhood development instruction. Excellent communication skills for effective parent communication and team collaboration. Knowledgeable about the teaching/learning process in child development. Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to become certified) Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage classroom activities efficiently while fostering a joyful learning environment. Positive and professional. An active member of a Christian faith community preferred.

Pay:

$22.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 - 28.0 per week
