Little Scholars Education Corporation is seeking an experienced and passionate Pre-K Teacher | 10-Month Position for our MSDE Prekindergarten Expansion Grant classroom. The Lead Teacher will provide high-quality, developmentally appropriate instruction to children ages 3-5 while ensuring the classroom meets MSDE Pre-K Expansion Grant requirements. Key Responsibilities Plan and implement curriculum aligned with the Maryland Early Learning Standards . Create engaging literacy, math, STEM, social-emotional, and school-readiness experiences. Conduct and document ongoing child assessments and use data to guide instruction. Maintain required Pre-K Expansion Grant classroom documentation. Prepare children for kindergarten and support individual developmental needs. Maintain a safe, organized, engaging classroom environment. Communicate regularly with families and participate in family-engagement activities. Participate in required professional development, coaching, evaluations, and quality-improvement activities. Participate in and successfully meet applicable CLASS observation requirements . Work collaboratively with the Assistant Teacher, Director, and administrative team.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a qualifying related field OR eligibility through MSDE's alternative experience pathway, which includes 10+ years of documented early childhood education experience and successful completion of the required Pre-K CLASS observation. Applicants must meet all applicable MSDE Pre-K Expansion Grant Lead Teacher requirements.
