Job Description

We have two locations: 1409 S. Division Street, Salisbury MD 21804, and 615 Franklin Avenue, Berlin
MD 21811.
We are hiring for both locations at this time. This job requires employees to work a 4/10 shift which is 10 hours a day 4 days a week (7-5 OR 7:30-5:30). Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and educational environment for children, fostering their development through engaging activities and individualized attention. This role requires a commitment to the well-being of each child, ensuring their safety and promoting positive behavior in a supportive setting. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Supervise and engage with children during activities, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment. Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging social interaction and emotional growth. Monitor children's progress and behavior, providing feedback to parents and guardians as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and play areas. Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational experience for all students. Administer first aid when necessary, ensuring the health and safety of all children in care. Support children with special needs through tailored activities and behavior management strategies. Qualifications Experience working with students in a childcare or educational setting is preferred. Knowledge of early childhood education principles, including daycare, preschool, infant and toddler care, and special education practices. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff. Ability to manage classroom behavior positively while promoting an inclusive atmosphere. A genuine passion for working with children and fostering their development through play-based learning experiences. Lead teacher certifications
