We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our team to provide care the children of our families in the NIH community.

Job Description:

Responsible for overall management and supervision of children and implementing a program of activities that promotes the social, emotional, and physical development of each child. Maintains a safe, clean, and organized classroom Planning and implementing the daily program of activities based on principles of child development and in accordance with the program's curriculum Performs other duties as required or assigned Conditions for

This position is subject to satisfactory clearance of all background checks The Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) Office of Childcare (OCC).

Qualifications:

High school Diploma or GED Minimum 1 year teaching experience. Must demonstrate experience and interest in working with young children, parents, and volunteers Must demonstrate success in working as a member of a team Must be willing to work flexible hours in order to meet the needs of the program Must meet the Maryland State Department of Education-Office of Childcare (MSDE-OCC) qualifications. CDA Preschool Certificate OR 45-hour Growth & Development w/ 45-hour Inf/Tod Methods and Materials OR AA or BA in Early Childhood Education Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA 3 Hour Training) Basic Health & Safety Training 9 Hour Communication Training additional trainings a plus:

First Aid/CPR Medication Administration Emergency Preparedness Pay:

$21.00 - $24.00 per hour
