Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Assistant to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support the development and well-being of young children by assisting with daily activities, creating a safe and nurturing environment, and fostering positive learning experiences. Your energy and enthusiasm will help inspire children to explore, learn, and grow while ensuring their safety and comfort at all times. Responsibilities Support lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development Assist with supervising children during playtime, meals, nap times, and outdoor activities to ensure safety and engagement Help create a warm, welcoming environment that encourages children's curiosity and independence Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials, toys, and learning spaces Observe children's behavior and developmental progress, reporting any concerns to supervisors promptly Support children with personal care needs such as diapering, feeding, or dressing as required Follow all safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary, to ensure a secure environment for all children Requirements Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or classroom environments Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education Certification or training in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and families Ability to manage behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques Passion for nurturing children's growth and creating engaging learning experiences Join us in shaping bright futures! Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
