Preschool Spanish Enrichment Teacher — Part-Time

About International School of Languages International School of Languages (ISL) is a Bethesda-based language education company that brings fun, engaging language enrichment programs to schools and preschools throughout the DMV area. About the Role We are hiring a part-time Spanish instructor to lead weekly enrichment classes in the area of Camp Springs, MD. You will teach four short, play-based classes back-to-back on a single morning each week. This is a great fit for someone who loves young children, has experience designing engaging early-childhood activities, and wants steady, low-commitment teaching work. Schedule One day per week (weekday TBD based on your availability) Four 30-minute classes, all held the same morning Start date aligned with the 2026-2027 school year What You'll Do Teach four 30-minute Spanish enrichment classes to Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4 students (three classrooms of 10 students, one classroom of 14) Design and deliver a play-based curriculum using songs, games, movement, and interactive activities Prepare your own lesson plans and bring any materials needed for class Lead a demo class for the school before the contract is finalized Keep a positive, energetic classroom environment appropriate for ages 3 and 4 What We're Looking For Strong proficiency in Spanish (native or near-native preferred) Prior experience teaching, tutoring, or working with young children (ages 3-5) Comfortable creating your own lesson plans and curriculum Creative, patient, and energetic Reliable transportation to Camp Springs, MD Authorized to work in the U.S. Early childhood education background or coursework Experience with immersion, enrichment, or play-based teaching Bilingual English/Spanish What You'll Get from ISL Full support with scheduling, parent and school communication, and coordination, so you can focus on teaching A steady weekly schedule that protects your time for other commitments A team that values creativity and treats instructors as partners Join us to make a meaningful impact on young learners' lives by fostering their love for languages while supporting their overall growth and development!
