We are a warm, play-based preschool seeking a thoughtful, engaging preschool teacher to join our team full-time. This position may be in a 2s, 3s, or Pre-K (4s) classroom, depending on experience and fit. We are looking for a teacher who understands how young children learn-through play, relationships, and meaningful interaction-and who can create a classroom that is both nurturing and well-managed.

What You'll Do:

• Lead a classroom with a co-teacher, creating a calm, engaging environment
• Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development
• Facilitate play-based learning experiences
• Guide routines and transitions with consistency and care
• Build strong, professional relationships with families
• Observe children and communicate progress thoughtfully

Qualifications:

• Must be 18+
• Experience in a preschool classroom (center-based preferred)
• Strong classroom management skills
• Warm, patient, and engaging with children
• Reliable and consistent
• Meets, or is willing to meet, Maryland childcare licensing requirements The ideal candidate is someone who:
