Job Overview We are seeking a a professional, enthusiastic, organized, and motivated , dynamic and experienced Assistant Child Care Director to join our leadership team. In this vital role, you will support the overall management of our early learning programs, ensuring educational excellence, operational efficiency, and compliance with all regulations. You will work closely with the Center Director, staff, families, and community partners to create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for children from infancy through preschool. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education, enjoys mentoring teachers, and values building strong relationships with children, families, and staff. Responsibilities Assist the Child Care Director in overseeing daily operations of the center, including staff supervision and program implementation Support curriculum development initiatives that promote early childhood development and align with best practices in education Facilitate professional development sessions for staff to enhance instructional leadership and classroom management skills Contribute to strategic planning efforts to expand program offerings and improve service quality Manage budgets related to educational resources, staff salaries, and facility needs while ensuring fiscal responsibility Lead fundraising efforts and community engagement activities to support center growth and sustainability Ensure compliance with all licensing requirements, educational regulations, and legal standards such as special education law and childhood development policies Communicate professionally with parents regarding their child's development and center activities Step into classrooms as needed to provide support and maintain appropriate staff-to-child ratios utilizing the Frog Street Curriculum Qualifications Proven experience in school administrative leadership or as a school director within early childhood or K-12 settings Strong background in curriculum development, instructional leadership, and educational compliance Education in early childhood education preferred Demonstrated ability in personnel management, team leadership, and supervising school staff Knowledge of budgeting, managing funds as an education administrator, and strategic planning processes Experience facilitating professional development in educational environments Familiarity with legal aspects of school operation including special education law and childhood development regulations Excellent communication skills for public speaking, team collaboration, and community outreach Classroom experience working directly with young children across early childhood education settings Required Certifications & Training Candidates must have or be able to provide documentation for the following: 90-Hour Preschool Certification 45-Hour Infant/Toddler Certification 45-Hour School Age Certification 45-Hour Director Administration Certification (Preferred) CPR & First Aid Certification Basic Health and Safety Training ADA Training Join us to lead with passion and purpose!
