Christ Kids Foundation Family Child Care Bowie, MD Christ Kids Foundation Family Child Care is seeking a caring, dependable, and nurturing Teacher Assistant to join our newly licensed family childcare program. We provide a safe, loving, faith-based learning environment where children ages 6 weeks-5 years can grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children and is passionate about helping them learn and thrive.

Responsibilities:

Assist with daily classroom activities and routines Provide attentive supervision and ensure children's safety at all times Support learning activities including reading, arts and crafts, music, Bible stories, and hands-on activities Help children develop social, emotional, and communication skills Assist with meals, snacks, diapering/toileting, and maintaining a clean learning environment Encourage positive behavior using respectful and nurturing guidance Communicate professionally with parents and childcare staff Follow all childcare licensing regulations and program policies

Qualifications:

Experience working with children (childcare, preschool, teaching, nanny, babysitting, or children's ministry experience preferred) Patient, reliable, responsible, and dependable Enjoys working with infants, toddlers, preschool, and school-age children Strong communication and teamwork skills Must pass required background checks Must pass health screening. CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Must be willing to complete required childcare training

Schedule:

Monday-Friday (Part-time with possibility to convert to full-time in future)
