  • Owings Mills is hiring an Early Childhood Education Teacherto guide our 2-year-old classroom.
This role is ideal for an early childhood educator who enjoys supporting toddlers as they develop independence, communication skills, and early social confidence in a structured, play-based setting.

Our toddler program emphasizes consistent routines, positive guidance, and hands-on learning experiences that support developmental milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a 2-year-old classroom in a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment
  • Deliver daily lessons aligned with The Learning Experience L.E.A.P. Curriculum
  • Support early language development, movement, creativity, and exploration
  • Guide daily routines including meals, diapering or toileting, transitions, and rest time
  • Encourage peer interaction, self-help skills, and emotional development
  • Communicate consistently with families regarding daily activities and progress
  • Collaborate with teaching teams and leadership to maintain Maryland licensing and quality standards
Qualifications:
  • Must meet Maryland Infant and Toddler and Preschool Teacher licensing requirements
  • Minimum 6 months experience in an early childhood classroom (1 year preferred)
  • High school diploma required; CDA or early childhood coursework strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
