Our team creates meaningful learning adventures that help children build confidence, explore boldly, and find their roar. We are seeking an experienced and passionate educator who is committed to creating engaging, STEAM-focused learning experiences while fostering a classroom culture of curiosity, exploration, and belonging. Position Summary The Lead Learning Guide serves as the classroom leader at The Learning Den. This position is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment, implementing developmentally appropriate learning experiences, mentoring classroom team members, and building strong partnerships with families. Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities Lead and manage all daily classroom operations Plan and implement engaging, STEAM-focused learning experiences Foster children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development Mentor and support Learning Guides and classroom assistants Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment Ensure compliance with Maryland licensing regulations and center policies Observe, document, and communicate children's developmental progress Build positive relationships with families through open communication Collaborate with the Den Director and fellow team members to promote program excellence Education & Experience Candidates must meet Maryland Office of Childcare qualifications for a Lead Teacher.- Minimum 2 years of experience working with young children in a licensed setting
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
