Infant / Toddler Qualified Teacher

Play and Learn is seeking positive, energetic, and nurturing Childcare Teachers for our location in Towson! Our Childcare staff will supervise and manage a group of children in cooperation with the Center Director.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Manages classroom ensuring compliance with all

MSDE-OCC

regulations, company standards, policies and procedures. 2. Plans, adapts and schedules age-appropriate curriculum involving various activities to stimulate the children's cognitive skills, abilities and development. 3. Provides continuous supervision to children to ensure the health and safety of children. 4. Maintains classroom and play areas in a clean, orderly, and safe condition. 5. Records daily observations of children's behavior and activities; monitors behavioral patterns and develops assessment and profiles. 6. Cooperates with other staff to maintain the smooth functioning of the center, which at times may require changes to meet the needs of the children. To be considered for the Early Childhood Education Teacher, the candidate must meet the guidelines of the Maryland State Department of Education -

Office of Child Care:

High School Diploma 1 Year experience working in an approved childcare Required Pre-Requisite Classes (45 hours in Growth and Development, 45 hrs in Infant & Toddler, and/or have a CDA, or a degree in Early Childhood Education)

NEEDED:

Infant/Toddler Closer Salary dependent upon certifications and experience.

Infant/Toddler Teacher:

$17.50-$20.00
