Join Our Team and Help Toddlers Thrive! Do you love working with energetic toddlers and making a difference during their most important developmental years? We're looking for a caring, creative, and dependable Toddler Teacher to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom where children can learn, play, and grow every day. Key Responsibilities Create a fun, safe, and engaging learning environment. Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that promote growth and development. Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom. Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers. Complete lesson plans, classroom documentation, and daily routines. Must be 21 years of age or older. High School Diploma or GED required (college coursework preferred). Minimum of one year of experience working with young children, 30 college credit hours, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must successfully complete a medical examination, drug screening, and background check. Must meet all Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) and Office of Child Care (OCC) teacher qualification requirements. Required Certifications 45 Hours Child Growth & Development 45 Hours Methods & Materials 9 Hours Communication ADA Training Basic Health & Safety Developmental Screening Breastfeeding SIDS Emergency Preparedness Medication Administration Pediatric First Aid & CPR CDA, Credential, or Preschool Qualification Evaluation (PQE), as required Preferred Skills Passion for early childhood education. Patient, nurturing, and creative. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices. Ready to inspire young learners?
