Wheaton, MD Job Details Full-time $20.50 - $27.00 an hour 6 hours ago Qualifications Classroom experience Teaching experience with young children Parent-teacher conferences (communication methods) Full Job Description The Lead Teacher (Toddlers & Pre-K) plans and implements a bilingual, developmentally appropriate curriculum, supervising classroom staff and fostering active family engagement to support child growth and learning.

Responsibilities:

Design and execute daily bilingual lesson plans tailored to early learning standards. Supervise Teacher Assistants and classroom staff while maintaining safety and proper adult-child ratios. Assess child growth, complete developmental evaluations, and lead parentteacher conferences. Maintain regular parent communication through monthly newsletters, daily updates, and family events.

Qualifications:

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (or equivalent ECE coursework/Praxis). 2 to 3 years of early childhood classroom experience. CDA Certification (Infant/Toddler or Preschool) preferred. Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) highly preferred; English communication skills required.

Position Details:

Openings (3 total): 1 Jr. PreK (2436 months) / 2 PreK (ages 35)

Schedule:

8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Fulltime, max 40 hours/week)

$20.50 $27.00 per hour
