Job Description:
This full-time position offers a consistent Monday-Friday schedule (7:30 AM-4:30 PM) and is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off (PTO), health and wellness benefits, retirement savings options, and more. The Early Childhood Education Assistant is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. This role supports the physical, intellectual, social, emotional, cultural, and creative development of children through engaging activities, positive interactions, and attentive care.
Essential Responsibilities:
Fosters a safe, nurturing, and comfortable environment through clear, positive, and encouraging words and actions. Provides for the health and safety of children by ensuring constant supervision of assigned groups and maintaining a secure, supportive setting at all times. Assists with and implements activities that meet children's physical, intellectual, social, cultural, creative, and emotional needs. Supports age-appropriate learning experiences that encourage curiosity, independence, creativity, and healthy development. Builds positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to create a welcoming and collaborative community. Maintains a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment that promotes learning and safety. Adheres to all licensing requirements, organizational policies, and best practices related to early childhood education and child safety. Works collaboratively with ELC staff to support daily classroom operations and provide exceptional care for children and families.

Enjoys working with children and has a passion for supporting early learning and development. Demonstrates flexibility, positivity, and a team-oriented mindset. Communicates effectively and builds strong relationships with children, families, and coworkers. Is dependable, patient, and committed to providing high-quality care. Previous child care, early education, or related experience is preferred. Compensation Information:
$15.10 - $26.43 The hourly pay range shown represents the base pay range for this position. Individual pay is determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and market considerations. In addition to base pay, eligible team members may earn additional compensation through shift, weekend, holiday, on-call, and other applicable differentials.
