Early Childhood Educator

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to foster a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. The ideal candidate will have experience in childhood development, classroom management, and curriculum development, with a strong commitment to supporting early learning milestones. This role involves implementing educational activities, and collaborating with families to promote children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth. The Early Childhood Educator will play a vital role in shaping the foundational skills necessary for children's future success in preschool and beyond. Responsibilities Implement engaging, developmentally appropriate curricula tailored to preschool and toddler-aged children Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Plan and execute daily lesson plans that align with educational standards and individual student needs. Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques. Collaborate with families to communicate children's developmental progress and address individual needs or concerns. Support children with special education needs or early intervention programs to ensure inclusive participation. Maintain accurate records of attendance in compliance with licensing requirements. Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, curriculum innovation, and classroom management best practices. Requirements Proven experience working with children in educational or childcare settings; preschool or daycare experience preferred. Knowledge of childhood development theories, behavior management strategies, and classroom management techniques. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with parents, colleagues, and community partners. Certification or degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is highly desirable; CDA credential is a plus. Passion for fostering a positive learning environment that promotes child welfare and development.

Pay:

$15.50 - $17.00 per hour
