Do you want meaningful experience in early childhood education while choosing when you work? Hilltop School is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Per Diem Substitute Teachers to support our early learning classrooms as needed throughout the year. This is a wonderful opportunity to be part of a warm, supportive school community while gaining hands-on experience in infant, toddler, preschool, and Pre-K classrooms. Each day brings something new, and every classroom offers a chance to make a positive impact on children's learning and development. Whether you're a college student, an education major, or someone who simply loves working with children, this role offers flexibility without sacrificing purpose. What You'll Do Step into classrooms as needed to support daily routines and learning activities Engage with children through play-based, hands-on learning experiences Support teachers with classroom management, transitions, meals, and outdoor play Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for all children Build meaningful connections with children and staff across multiple classrooms Follow established routines and provide consistency in teacher absences What We're Looking For A positive, flexible, and dependable team player Someone who enjoys working with young children (infants through Pre-K) Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn Ability to step into different classrooms and follow established routines Experience in early childhood settings is helpful but not required Students in Education, Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, Human Development, or related fields are encouraged to apply Why Join Hilltop?
