  • Full-time Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team.
In this pivotal role, you will lead classroom activities, foster a nurturing environment, and support the developmental growth of our youngest learners. Duties Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support holistic childhood development. Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment tailored to toddlers' unique needs. Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques to promote respectful interactions and social skills. Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address concerns, and foster strong home-school connections. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and student interns, providing guidance on classroom management, lesson planning, and child welfare best practices. Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods when appropriate to monitor developmental milestones and inform instruction. Maintain detailed records of children's progress, attendance, and incident reports in compliance with childcare regulations and standards. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings, specifically with toddlers in daycare or preschool environments. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention strategies, special education needs, and behavior management techniques. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and literacy education. Familiarity with Montessori methods, preschool experience, and teaching physical education are highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with families, colleagues, and community partners. Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is preferred; ongoing professional development is encouraged. Ability to create a nurturing environment that prioritizes child welfare while maintaining compliance with licensing standards.
