Job Description

About us Brook Hollow Academy is a home childcare nestled on 20 acres of private woodlands. We are looking to hire a full time teacher to work with infants and young toddlers. Responsible for supervising, playing with, and assuring the safety of the young children. Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Responding to the physical and emotional needs of the young children
  • Supervising and playing with the children
  • Light house keeping
Responsibilities:
Take care of children during the day and take them on outings. Play games with and nurture children, keeping them safe and secure. Ensure on-time arrival and departure of children. Teach basic skills such as reading, writing and arithmetic through dedicated classes or informal games. Look after sick children or provide proper medication. Deal with any crises that may arise, such as accidents or injuries to the child.
Pay:
$15.10 - $16.00 per hour Application Question(s): Must have an up to date TDAP and MMR vaccinations.
Education:
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
childcare/teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
First aid/CPR Certification (Preferred) Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
