Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our team. As an Infant Teacher, you will play a key role in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children to grow, learn, and develop essential skills.Duties:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development and cognitive development of Infants-aged 6 weeks to 18 months old.
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration
- Develop and follow a daily schedule that incorporates playtime, group activities, individual learning, and rest time
- Monitor and assess infant's progress and communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their baby's development
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience for all children
- Implement behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior and social skills
- Maintain accurate records of each child's progress and development
Skills:
- Experience in nannying, infant care, or babysitting
- Strong understanding of behavior management techniques
- Knowledge of curriculum and educational practices
- Ability to educate and engage young children in a classroom setting
- Background in childcare, special education, or infant care is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
