Job Description
Academy of Little Learners (A.L.L) is a privately owned childcare and preschool with an impeccable reputation in York and surrounding communities. We are looking for a toddler and or preschool teacher to work three to four days a week. Academy of Little Learners is accredited by the National Association for the Education and is also registered with Maine Roads to Quality the highest level 4. Academy of Little Learners is not only committed to the highest quality of care and education for children but we are also committed to maintaining the highest level of professionalism for teachers. As early childhood educators, Academy of Little Learners philosophy, mission and beliefs are based on the idea that every child is unique and special. To help make this possible it is imperative that our children start with a strong and encouraging foundation from their families, communities and teachers. Building this foundation means that the teachers and caregivers working with children provide and environment that is rich with love, compassion, and the willingness to develop as early childhood professionals so that we are able to meet the children's needs. At Academy of Little Learners not only do we strive to create a creative, adventurous, fun, and inspiring place for children and families, we also do the same for the teachers! If you have a passion for young children and share an enthusiasm for learning and knowledge in young learners that will serve as a foundation for future success we would love to meet you! General Qualifications Must be at least 18 years or older. Employees must be physically able to spend several hours a day on their feet and be prepared to be busy moving and physically engaging young children. Currently the state of Maine will pay up to $540.00 in supplemental wage benefits depending on your qualifications. You do not have to be a Maine resident to receive this bonus money.
