Our teachers help create a safe, caring, and interactive space where children can learn, explore, and develop. You'll take part in designing and leading meaningful activities that support cognitive, emotional, and physical development, while also focusing on curiosity and independence. Key Responsibilities As a member of our teaching staff, you will contribute a joyful and engaging learning environment! Based on your experience, duties may include: Planning and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans that support learning Encouraging children's social and emotional development through positive guidance and being a good role model Supporting every child by promoting inclusion and individualized care Creating and maintaining a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, cooperation, and independence Keeping the classroom clean, safe, and organized in accordance with state licensing requirements Assisting with daily routines such as meals, rest time, and transitions Observing and documenting children's developmental progress Communicating with families about classroom activities and each child's development and growth Workling collaboratively with team members to uphold consistent routines and effective classroom management Qualifications Minimum Requirements Experience working in a licensed child care center, preschool, or early childhood program CPR and first aid certification (or willingness to obtain after hiring) Ability to pass background check required by the State of Michigan Solid understanding of child development and early learning principles Preferred Qualifications (for Lead Teacher consideration) Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential At least two nyears of experience in a licensed child care or preschool setting Skills We Value Creativity, patience, and genuine passion for working with young children Strong communication and teamwork skills Adaptability and professionalism in a fast-paced environment Dedication to maintaining a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom setting

Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts (no evenings or weekends)

Pay:

$14.50-$18.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications •Final rate depends on verified education, credentials, and childcare-related experience

Probationary Period:
