The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development. The Daycare Teacher will be responsible for implementing educational activities, managing classroom behavior, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in their care. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development in areas such as language, motor skills, and social interaction. Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for all children, including those with disabilities or special needs. Monitor children's progress and behavior, providing guidance and support as needed to encourage positive development. Maintain effective classroom management to create a structured learning environment. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience for all children. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of childhood development. Qualifications Experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is highly desirable. Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices, including behavior management techniques. Familiarity with special education practices is a plus. First aid certification is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to manage individual responsibilities effectively.
