Summer Camp Teacher

Milestones Early Learning in Caledonia is seeking qualified candidates for our Summer Fun Club. Our Caledonia location is just a few minutes south of M-6 on M-37 (Beltline/Broadmoor Ave). Our summer fun club program is for school age students to learn, play and take many fun educational field trips. This is an excellent job for a college student looking for a flexible schedule around their school requirements or someone looking to gain experience in that age group. Responsibilities and Duties Planning and/or implementing enriching lesson plans in line with early childhood standards. Caring for and engaging with children age Kindergarten to 12 years in authentic learning experiences through play, establishing & maintaining positive family, child, and staff relationships, and ensuring safety and highest quality childcare. Candidates ideally will have availability to 6:30 PM. Qualifications and Skills Ideal candidates will be caring, dependable, and enthusiastic, motivated, and work well in a team-oriented environment. Applicants must possess the following required qualifications/credentials: Professional experience working with children or in early childhood/elementary education encouraged. Ability to obtain Clear criminal background check Current CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain 18 years of age is preferred but not younger than 16. If 21 and willing to obtain a chauffer's license to drive to fieldtrips is a plus!

Pay:

$13.50 - $17.00 per hour
