Location:
Early Start Childcare Position Overview Early Start Childcare is looking for an enthusiastic and responsible Evening Preschool & After-School Caregiver to support children during the evening program. This role includes implementing planned activities, supervising children, and ensuring classrooms are prepared for the next day. Key Responsibilities Supervise and engage preschool and school-age children during evening hours Implement assigned activities, lessons, and routines Foster a positive, safe, and structured environment Assist children with homework, enrichment activities, and transitions Clean and organize the classroom before departure to prepare for the next day Follow center policies and communicate effectively with leadership Occasionally assist with closing the building alongside the evening supervisor, as needed Qualifications Experience working with preschool and/or school-age children preferred Strong classroom management and communication skills Dependable and able to work evening shifts Ability to follow activity plans and daily expectations Must meet state childcare licensing requirements What We Offer Positive and collaborative work environment Consistent evening hours Opportunity to support children's growth beyond the traditional school day Opportunity for Professional Growth
