In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for toddlers. Your leadership will inspire young learners to explore, discover, and grow while ensuring their safety and well-being. As a Lead Toddler Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in fostering early childhood development through innovative lesson planning, effective classroom management, and meaningful parent communication. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on children's lives during their foundational years. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in toddlers Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence Manage daily classroom activities, including lesson planning, circle time, play-based learning, and routine care Utilize behavior management strategies to support positive behavior and social skills among children Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, milestones, and any concerns Ensure compliance with all mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies Collaborate with colleagues to plan special activities and integrate early intervention techniques when needed Requirements Proven experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting, specifically with toddlers Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience developing curricula that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and social-emotional learning Familiarity with special education needs and early intervention strategies for young children Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in child welfare or behavior management are a plus Ability to manage a classroom efficiently while maintaining a positive and energetic atmosphere Knowledge of mandated reporting laws and child safety protocols Join us as a Lead Toddler Teacher to help shape the future by nurturing the youngest learners.
