Responsibilities:

Care and Supervision:

Provide attentive and nurturing care for children in a group setting. Maintain a safe and clean environment, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations. Supervise and monitor children at all times, ensuring their well-being

Curriculum and Activities:

Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that encourage development in areas such as language, motor skills, and sensory exploration. Follow daily schedule that balances feeding, diapering, playtime, and rest.

Communication and Collaboration:

Foster positive relationships with parents/guardians through regular communication about their child's progress and daily routines. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure consistency in care and curriculum across the center.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of each childs activities, progress, and any notable incidents. Prepare developmental assessments and progress reports as required.

Working Conditions:

Full-time and part-time positions with regular hours based on the daycare's operating schedule. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and carry children, as well as kneeling, stooping, and bending. Exposure to various childhood illnesses and hygiene-related duties. tinkrLAB is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment for both staff and children.

Required Qualifications:

Be at least 18 years of age. Completed high school degree or equivalent education. Be certified or obtain certification in CPR, First Aid and Blood-Borne Pathogen upon hire. Be mentally and physically capable of caring for a large group of children, in a team or alone, in a classroom. Be able to kneel, bend, squat, lift, push, pull and carry children up to 70lbs. Experience in Early Childhood Education and a passion for STEAM-based learning is important when tinkrLAB is considering a candidate. Responsibilities and Duties (including but not limited to): Prioritize health, safety and well-being of the children in the center Ensure all state/licensing regulations and company policies and procedures are being followed Implement developmentally appropriate methods Establish professional relationships with parents and staff Address and make decisions about issues, questions, or concerns that arise daily and partner with Director as necessary Prepare documents relating accidents/ouchies/incidents/sickness Work alongside administration and teaching team to create and maintain positive atmosphere Ensure confidentiality at all times Ensure all necessary forms and training are completed by the deadline Have emergency telephone numbers and be aware of emergency plans Assist in all classrooms, as necessary Assist with Diaper changes and Potty Training Maintain accurate records and files for licensing Maintain the values of tinkrLAB at all times Etc.
