Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Lead Infants/Toddlers Daycare Teacher! In this dynamic role, you will inspire and nurture the youngest learners, creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment. Your expertise in childhood development, curriculum development, and classroom management will help lay a strong foundation for infants and toddlers during their critical early years. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while working in a supportive and collaborative setting. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote early literacy, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional growth for infants and toddlers. Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring a nurturing atmosphere that fosters curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management. Monitor and document each child's developmental milestones, tailoring activities to support individual needs including those requiring special education or early intervention strategies. Collaborate with families to communicate progress, discuss developmental concerns, and share strategies for supporting children's growth at home. Manage classroom routines such as diapering, feeding, nap times, and transitions with patience and professionalism. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or aides to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality childcare and early childhood education standards. Maintain compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety protocols, and documentation requirements related to childcare and preschool experience. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings, especially with infants and toddlers. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies. Familiarity with curriculum development including literacy education, Montessori methods, or other educational frameworks suitable for early learners. Experience in special education or early intervention programs is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and team members. Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate physical education, math concepts, and social-emotional learning. Certification in early childhood education or related fields is preferred; ongoing professional development in childhood development is encouraged. Pay:
$14.00 - $17.00 per hour
