Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Lead Toddler Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young minds will inspire growth, curiosity, and joy. In this dynamic role, you will lead a classroom of energetic toddlers, creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment that fosters learning through play and exploration. Your expertise will guide the daily activities, support individual needs, and promote positive behavior, ensuring each child's developmental milestones are met with enthusiasm and care. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development for toddlers Lead daily classroom activities that encourage exploration, creativity, and learning through hands-on experiences Foster a nurturing environment that supports each child's unique needs and promotes positive behavior management strategies Collaborate with families to share progress updates, address concerns, and build strong partnerships centered on the child's well-being Ensure safety protocols are consistently followed, including first aid procedures and emergency response readiness Maintain detailed records of developmental progress, attendance, and classroom observations to inform ongoing planning Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or caregivers to ensure high-quality care and educational standards are upheld Requirements Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings, specifically with toddlers Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education Certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in special education or working with children with disabilities are a plus Strong classroom management skills combined with effective behavior management techniques Ability to create engaging lesson plans that support developmental milestones in toddler care Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with families and team members Reliable and dedicated with a passion for nurturing young children's growth in a caring environment Join us in shaping the future by providing joyful learning experiences for our youngest learners!
Pay:
$14.00 - $17.00 per hour
