KinderCare is seeking a dedicated Lead Teacher for our Lathers Learning Center. In this on-site role, you will design and lead engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences for young children in a safe, nurturing environment. You will guide classroom staff, foster inclusive relationships with families, and ensure compliance with licensing and safety standards. Responsibilities Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons and activities for young children. Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment. Observe and assess children's progress and adjust instruction accordingly. Communicate regularly with families about children's growth and daily experiences. Support, coach, and model best practices for assistant teachers and classroom staff. Maintain classroom records, attendance, and compliance with licensing standards. Implement health, safety, and cleanliness procedures. Collaborate with center leadership on curriculum, events, and continuous improvement. Manage classroom behavior using positive guidance methods. Participate in professional development and training.
