Preschool Teacher Position:
M-TH AM Session Position Available:

Qualifications:
Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate (a) a ZA or ZS endorsement, (b) a ZN or ZO endorsement, or (c) a bachelor's degree in child development with specialization in preschool teaching Experience working with preschool students ages 3-5 Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Demonstrated knowledge of child development Submission of a negative Tuberculosis test Completion of fingerprinting in accordance with Michigan State Licensing requirements for background checks as well as MDE for school employment.
Key Responsibilities:
Passion for early childhood education and commitment to fostering a love of learning Create a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment Collaborate with families, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to support student progress Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood Participate in IEP meetings Ability to use and integrate technology seamlessly Familiarity with Michigan's Early Childhood Standards of Quality Ability to take a team approach to planning Familiarity with Michigan's state licensing rules for child care centers (LARA) First Aid, CPR, and AED training (or willingness to be trained)
