Job Description
A Preschool Teacher, or Early Childhood Teacher, is a childcare professional who takes care of and educates students around three to four years old. Their main duties include teaching children about basic fundamentals, like numbers, color and shapes, helping children build their social skills and keeping the classroom clean and safe for all of the students as well as a being a team player supporting all aspects of our center as a whole. Lead Teachers are responsible for overseeing support caregiving staff and overall care of the children. All caregiving staff are expected to be a team player who contributes a positive attitude to our community. Qualifications and Skills Lead Teacher must be : 19 years of age Have received either a high school diploma or GED Have 12 semester hours or 18 CEU's of coursework in Early Childhood Education/Development from an accredited school/source Minimum of 960-3,840 hours of experience
