Prudenville, MI Our Lady of the Lake Regional Catholic School is looking for a caring, responsible, patient and kind individual to work as a classroom aide during the regular school year. The ideal candidate must be willing to commit themselves to our mission of providing Christ-centered excellence in care and education. If hired, continued training in Early Childhood Care & Education is a requirement of the state.

Qualified candidates:

Have a CDA, coursework in Early Childhood Development, and/or experience is preferred. CPR and First Aid Certified Take initiative to help create a calm, nurturing, and engaging environment for children.

Job Duties include:

Flexibility when it comes to teaching partners and group of students. Being responsible for basic bodily care tasks for young children. Be able to keep accurate daily records for each child in their care. Cleaning classrooms throughout the day (wiping downs surfaces, cleaning toys, sweeping, and vacuuming when needed). Singing and talking with children throughout the day. Facilitating developmentally appropriate play and activities for children under their care. Maintain a comfortable and welcoming environment for children and families. Be able to assess children's growth and development. Other tasks assigned as needed.
