Job Description
Full-time or part-time childcare teacher. You will be working with children that range from birth to 5 years old. In a typical day you may be playing with children, teaching them appropriate age level skills, potty training and cleaning up an occasional mess. That might mean frequently bending to pick up children or toys, sitting on the floor, and standing while playing catch. You will be comfortable in your casual attire. At the end of each day, your communication to families about their child's day is expected. Our childcare has served the Greater Lansing community for 30 years. We are open from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. As a childcare teacher you will help by ensuring a safe and nurturing environment that helps promote social, cognitive and physical growth. You will work side by side with the lead teacher. All candidates must be at least 16 years old, enthusiastic, flexible, and reliable.
