Full Job Description General Statement of Responsibilities :
The person selected for this position will be responsible for the general supervision, management and maintenance of the classroom and age group for which they are hired and assigned. They are responsible for assuring that any curriculum and developmental program followed in their environment is age appropriate, and that the children's needs are being adequately met. The Head Teacher is responsible for assuring that all TLCCC's policies and procedures are followed in their room and by all staff members assigned under them.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age, and able to lift up to 50 pounds. Working with young children can be physically and emotionally taxing as workers constantly stand, walk, bend, stoop and lift to attend to each child's interest and problems. The person selected for this position must be able to work and function under these conditions. The person selected for this position must have the training, hours or experience mandated for this position by State Licensing. The individual must relate well to both children and adults, and will have, or be able to develop, the personality and ability to provide leadership and stability for the program's continuity.
Supervision:
The position of Head Teacher is under the supervision of the Director or Staff Member placed in charge by the Director.

$15.75 per hour
