Job Description
KinderCare is seeking dedicated Teachers for our Lapeer center to nurture young children in a safe, engaging classroom. In this role, you will plan and lead developmentally appropriate, play-based learning experiences that support social, emotional, and academic growth. You'll build strong relationships with children and families, communicate progress, and maintain a warm, inclusive environment. Working with a collaborative team, you'll implement KinderCare's curriculum, ensure health and safety standards, and participate in ongoing professional development with clear paths for career growth. Responsibilities Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons and activities for young children. Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment. Supervise children and ensure compliance with all safety and health protocols. Communicate regularly with parents about children's progress and daily activities. Observe and document children's development and learning milestones. Collaborate with center staff to support center goals and standards. Implement Kinder Care curriculum and adapt activities to individual needs. Support children's social-emotional growth through positive guidance. Participate in training and professional development opportunities. Assist with classroom organization, recordkeeping, and daily routines.
